What is a GOLO Boxing class like?

Experience a workout like no other! Dark lights, thumping music, super high energy. We give you boxing, fitness and FUN!

Arrive to class early and our spectacular Trainers will help you sign in, find your personal boxing bag and wrap your hands for class.

In the first 10 minutes of class the Trainer will get everyone warmed up and run drills on punching techniques and series. Then it’s time to take it up a notch!

Every class features a unique mix of exercises to get your heart pumping and bag drills to sharpen your boxing moves. Our Trainers will keep you motivated and watch your technique. This is a full body workout with a mindfulness to the art form of boxing.

What level experience do you need for a GOLO Boxing Class?

Our Trainers adapt every class to meet the needs of our students. Whether you are a beginner or a veteran, you will get a great workout. We provide a challenging program, excellent support and at atmosphere that encourages successes.

What if I have never boxed before?

Congrats on taking the first step! We would love to show you what a rewarding workout boxing can be. Please come to class early and talk to one of our Trainers. They will help you prepare for class and review the basic moves we will be practicing that day.

I am a highly experienced boxer, will I get anything out of your classes?

Absolutely! We have all American wrestlers, martial art experts and boxing champions who love to train at GOLO Boxing. Talk to our Trainers about your goals and we will make sure you are properly challenged.

How early should I arrive for class?

Arrive at least 15 minutes early for class. We want to make sure we have time to help you sign in, find your reserved boxing bag, and properly wrap your hands for class.

What if I am late for class?

We want to be respectful of our students and trainers time. 5 minutes after class starts we close the doors and do not allow anyone else to join.

How long are classes?

Classes are 45 minutes. That includes time for a warm up, work out and cool down stretch.

Are all the classes the same?

Every class is unique. This allows students to keep coming back to GOLO Boxing and always leaving with new skills and a great workout.

Each Trainer has their own style, taste in music and favorites moods. We encourage you to try us all and mix it up.

Do you offer privates classes?

Yes! We offer private training classes for individuals or groups. Just fill out this contact form and we will send your more information and pricing.

What should I bring to class?

Some students travel light, others come fully packed. Here’s what we recommend your pack in your gym bag:

What should I wear to a GOLO Boxing Class?

Dress in light, comfortable workout clothing. Most students wear cross-training sneakers, but go ahead and rock boxing shoes if you have them. We tend to work up a sweat, so layers are encouraged.

Do I need to bring my own boxing gloves?

We highly encourage students to invest in their own pair of boxing gloves. It’s the most hygienic and efficient way to go. We sell several different types of boxing gloves at our studio. Just ask one of our Trainers to help you find a pair that fits your needs.

If you aren’t ready to buy gloves or forgot your gloves at home – no worries! We do have gloves available to rent upon request.

How much do gloves and wraps cost?

We have gloves ranging in prices from just $30 to $150. Ask one of our Trainers to help you find a pair that fits your needs.

If you aren’t ready to buy gloves, or forget your gloves at home, rentals start at $5.

We sell both Gel Wraps and Hand Wraps.

Is there a full gym available?

Yes, GOLO Boxing offers a full gym for private training.

Do you have lockers?

Yes! Lockers are complimentary.

Is there a shower at the studio?

Yes! We have a shower at the studio, though most students only use the facility to change before/after class.

Do you have water or should I bring my own?

Most students bring their own bottle, but we also sell water bottles at the front desk.

Do you sell food?

No, but we are close to many great places to eat and will happily make a recommendation.

How do I sign up for a class?

How early can I sign up for a class?

The class schedule is available online 2 full weeks in advance. View and book classes

How do I cancel a class after I have already signed up online?

There is a “cancel” class option online that works up to 24 hours prior to a class. Sign in to your account, locate the class, and click cancel.

If you have an emergency and need to cancel class within 24 hours of class, please email Andrew@GOLOBoxing.com and ask for assistance.

Do I have to buy a package or membership?

Nope! You can buy a single class for $30. If this is your first time, a single class is just $20.
